Foundation DCR is a cultural hotspot located near the city center of The Hague and consists of an exhibition space, a theatre, a sound studio, an extensive and well equipped workshop and 36 studios used by artists and designers.
The DCR offers three guest studios for artists from The Netherlands and abroad. The accommodation is available to artists, designers, writers, curators, theatrical producers, composers and musicians who wish to stay or work on a short or longer-term basis in the DCR.
The guest studios are planned for those who wish to develop activities within the DCR, but equally intended to be used, on a longer-term basis by guests of other cultural institutes in The Hague. Studio 2 and 3 are available for a period of three months. The interiors of these studios are designed to facilitate various working disciplines. Studio 1 can be used for a shorter stay. The studios are divided into a living– and working space and have a kitchen and bathroom. Other facilities available to the guests are a washing machine and a fast link Internet connection.
To provide more than just a cultural stay the organization would like to positively encourage a programme of mutual exchange to make it a worthwhile investment and experience for both the artist and the DCR. During their stay presentations or introductions to the working practice will present the guest to the DCR and further to a wider public. The organization will also make an effort to introduce guests to colleagues with similar interests in both the DCR and The Hague.

How to get there by public transport or car

< 1 month 375,- < 2 months 750,- < 3 months 1100,- The gueststudios are available for 1 person only. In exceptional occasions we can offer the studio for 2 persons, but the price will be 150% of the normal rate as mentioned.
Keys
Deposit for a set of 2 keys (gate, frontdoor and studio) is € 200,-
The deposit will be returned after leaving the studio in original state and receiving the keys at the end of your stay.
Bike
There is a bicycle available and free to use. Reservation is recommended.
Deposit: € 100,-
Parking
Paid parking from 18.00 – 24.00 hour.
